Act3animation’s facilities include a multi-purpose 3D animation studio, with compositing and video editing. Act3animation also manages sound production through its close association with local high end film sound studios, local composers and musicians. Act3animation has recently entered in to a long term Collaboration Agreement with Deakin University, Victoria, for the commercial co-utilization, marketing, operation and management of a state-of-the-art motion capture studio. The studio, an alliance between Act3animation and Deakin Motion.Lab is the largest facility of its type in Australia with 24 Motion Analysis Eagle 4 cameras (4 mega pixel resolution 2352 x 1728) suitable for multi-character and props capture, as well as intricate facial capture and complex location work.
